Habits

The chains of habit are generally too small to be felt until they are too strong to be broken. ~Samuel Johnson

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. ~Jim Ryun

Look at your accomplishments, really look at them. What did the last month bring to you? Did you reach your goals, stick to your diet, make improvements in your personal relationships, or find what you describe as success? Did you being your new resoulutions?

Take a look at how setting and carrying out good habits have changed your life. Success and failure are habits, and the good habits are just as difficult to break as bad ones. What.. Don't you believe me? Would you stop brushing your teeth for 30 days? Even if I offered you $100? No? Why? Because the good habits are just as difficult to break as bad ones!

I suggest, if you want to change a habit, you select one each month. Write it down on a card, remember to make it positive! then do the habit you want for 30 days.... For example if you want to be on time and your not usually, write down on a card.. I am always on time to my appointments. Read that out loud to yourself 7 to 10 times each morning and evening. Make an effort, a real effort to show up on time for 30 days. At the end of the 30 days you'll see you're on time for your appointments more than your late. :)

I love good habits. I believe that bad habits need to be replaced, not just removed.
Thanks for the tip!
